如何将大量数据从excel表存储到sqllite数据库android

I have an excel sheet with relavant data in it. I need to store this data in Sqllite database. Please give suggestions on how to proceed with this. would creating a text file and reading from the text file be to update the database be a wise solutions.I have an excel sheet with relavant data in it.
