如何避免在scatterplot / ggplot中重叠具有相同数据点的标签？

Is there any function etc which avoids overlapping data labels for identical data points in a scatter plot? I have checked the various questions/responses to textxy, direct.label, and geom_text(), but I haven't been successful. Maybe it's simply not possible. Is there any function etc which avoids overlapp
