将VLC播放器嵌入到WPF应用程序中

I am interested in embedding a VLC player into a WPF application. It is to be used as a quality control tool where the user can watch a movie, pause, and move to different frames in order to get a good idea of how the movie looks. Most of these will be MP4 files, but with a few .MOV files. (Hence the need for VLC) Does anybody know where to start? I have seen the activex page and am thinking that would be the best way to go.
