防止MySQL崩溃?“爬”内存泄漏

I set up a fresh 1GB VPS server instance dedicated solely to MySQL. Everything seems to be working great. However, I noticed that mysqld memory usage quickly grows and sort of peaks out at about 700MB (as expected), but then it slowly “creeps” up over the course of 1-2 days. Then when it reaches about 770MB, the process gets killed by OOM Killer and restarts within a few seconds.
